HEATHCOTE Artists Inc opened a new exhibition recently at Heathcote Winery which will run until the end of May.
The show consists of more than 30 artworks in a range of different mediums, all by local artists.
“We are very grateful to Heathcote Winery for hosting the exhibition,” said secretary Fiona Hanlon.
“We hope everyone will come along and enjoy a delicious coffee, or a glass of wine, and view our work.”
It will be a busy year for the group which meets every Monday at Heathcote Golf Club.
“This year marks 20 years of Heathcote Artists Inc’s commitment to fostering creativity, supporting local artists, and enriching the cultural life of the Heathcote region,” said Hanlon.
“To celebrate the 20th anniversary Heathcote Artists Inc will be holding a special exhibition and sale of works by past and present Heathcote Artists Inc members.

“It will be held in the RSL Hall, at 127 High Street, over the Heathcote on Show long weekend from 5 to 8 June.
“Any past members who would like to be involved can contact Lynne on 0438 332 733.
“We would love to have you join us for this special celebration.”
The King’s Birthday weekend exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, 6 and 7 June, and from 10am to 3pm on Monday 8 June.
New members are always welcome.
“Our group caters for experienced artists as well as those who are just starting out,” said Hanlon.
“New members are most welcome and are encouraged to attend our get togethers where they will find encouragement and guidance from other members.”
