Appreciation for the backboneof the hospital

WORLD Support Services Day will be observed next Friday 15 May, providing an opportunity to pay tribute to the people and services providing vital health support.

Heathcote Health is one of the largest employers in Heathcote, providing a number of support services to the community in addition to the nine-bed public facility.

Corporate services manager Andrew Walker has worked at Heathcote Health since October 2024.

“Everyone works really well with each other and help to provide the very best for patients in our care,” he said.

As well as hospital care, Heathcote Health also facilitates district nursing, Meals on Wheels, residential aged care, domestic assistance, social support and allied health.

Services are provided within a 25-kilometre radius of Heathcote.
