Head to Elmore for garage sale bargains

ELMORE Lions Club will host a Town-Wide Garage Sale this Saturday.

A map of all registered sale addresses will be available from 8.30am at the barbeque area in Railway Square.

Previous town garage sales have proved popular.

“Last year we had a very successful day with 16 registered addresses,” said Cobi Fitzpatrick from the Lions Club.

“So far, we have 10 on the list for this year.

“Goods available include children’s toys and clothes, household items, metal art, craft items, books, camping gear and power tools.

“Money from one address will be used to support Elmore Playgroup.

“The Lions will also be running a barbeque, serving sausages and bacon and egg rolls.”

The town-wide garage sale will be held from 8.30am to 12pm and visitors are asked to respect the community with no early callers.
