Informal breakfast celebrates International Women’s Day

MORE than 40 women gathered for an informal breakfast at The Watering Hole to celebrate International Women’s Day last week.
The event was organised by Heathcote Community House with coffee and muffins courtesy of Mandalay Resources.
“It was wonderful to have so many women together,” Community House executive officer Vicki Forde said.
Representatives from the SES, Heathcote Health, Victoria Police, Mandalay Resources and Community House were among those who attended.
“Thank you to Mandalay Resources for their contribution,” said Ms Forde.
“Everyone enjoyed the event, and I think it made us all feel empowered.”
