LOCALS and visitors will gather once again on the King’s Birthday Weekend for the annual Heathcote on Show event, to explore, taste and enjoy.

With more than 25 venues in town and across the Heathcote Region, there is something for everyone.

“Heathcote on Show has been running annually for about 13 years,” said Heathcote Tourism and Development president, Peter Young.

“It is always a fantastic weekend for the town and visitors alike as they explore the main street and the surrounding areas.

“There is always a great festival atmosphere with wine tastings, music and gourmet food, both in town and across the region.”

Artisan winemakers, chefs, brewers, and musicians will showcase their talents at the festival which always attracts large crowds from local area and beyond.

The festival is family and dog friendly.

Accommodation is available to suit all budgets and tastes, from the caravan park, five-star luxury, or farm stays.

An express return bus service will be available from the Bendigo Visitor Information Centre, departing at 8.40am and returning at 7pm.

Throughout the three days a shuttle bus will run between five different routes to allow visitors to enjoy various out-of-town venues.

“We hope locals and visitors will once again embrace the opportunity to explore our fabulous region,” said Mr Young.
