ALL proceeds from Pyalong Op Shop sales next week will be donated to the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea.
The op shop at the house was started in a single room but now extends through the whole building with additional storage facilities outside.
“We used to host a morning tea for the event, but our op shop has taken over and doesn’t leave any room,” said Pyalong Neighbourhood House president Moira Waye.
“By donating the week’s takings, it is our way of supporting this important cause. Shoppers can also donate to the Biggest Morning Tea at the house or donate online.
“As well as all our bargain priced items, one of our committee members is a fabulous cook and makes jams, cakes and apple pies for sale.
“Last year we made $700 and we are hoping we can raise even more this year.
“Please come in and check out our huge range of clothing, books, toys, household items and, of course, the delicious baked treats.
“You will be helping a wonderful cause.”
