Sustainable fashion market returns
AFTER two successful pop-up markets by Second Chance Bendigo, a third event for pre-loved clothes will be held at Town Hall on Saturday 24 February.
Organiser, Nimzy Jamang, said this time the diversity of clothing will be increased to be more inclusive of styles and sizes.
“I’m involving a lot of different age groups and different sizes,” she said. “Last time we didn’t have any men’s or anything, this time we have men’s as well.
“There will be clothing for boys, kids, adults, and from size six to plus sizes so that everyone who comes in finds something for themselves.”
This one will be two hours longer than previous events, from 10am to 4pm, with the aim of giving shoppers more time to scope out some cool pieces.
Ms Jamang said there will some more younger stall holders in the mix which will help expand the range of fashion.
“This time what I wanted to do was actually involve lots of youngsters,” she said.
“I know a lot of people shop on Depop and everything and I just want to make circular fashion a thing.”
So far, Ms Jamang said the response looks good with more than 1000 people showing interest on its Facebook event page.
