BARRACK Reserve Stadium will be transformed into Rydell High School for an immersive Grease movie sing-a-long experience on Sunday 14 June.

Heathcote Community House will present the event which includes a diner lunch.

“It’s all about having fun,” said organiser Sylvia Crewe.

“We want everyone to let their hair down, forget their troubles and have a great afternoon.

“Barrack Reserve Stadium will be transformed back into the 1950s and we are encouraging everyone to dress up to suit the occasion.

“Dress up as your favourite movie character and you could win some great prizes.

“There will also be an opportunity to win prizes with other fun activities during the afternoon, including a raffle and the chance to bid on some fabulous items.”

“The Heathcote Football Netball Club will open the bar with drinks available at bar prices. All profits from the bar will go to the club.

“We are very grateful to Heathcote Film Festival for providing their equipment and to Roadshow permissions as we will be showing the original Grease movie.

“Everyone is invited to join in and sing along with all the hits.”

Proceeds from the event will go towards helping to repair and maintain the much-loved community house mudbrick buildings that need some structural work.

Tickets are $35 per person which includes the 1950s Grease style diner lunch.
