Bowlers roll up to support Community House
HEATHCOTE Bowling Club will run a special tournament on Australia Day to support Heathcote Community House.
Play on 26 January will be 2.4.2 triples starting at 10am.
Three games of 10 ends will be contested and the Power Play will play.
Entry is $75 per team.
There will be multiple raffle prizes drawn across the day.

On the pennant bowls front, Heathcote leads the division two ladder in weekend pennant, and has climbed to the fourth rung in midweek pennant’s division three standings.
The Saints scored a two-shot win at home against Castlemaine in the Charity Round played on December 15 before the Christmas-New Year break.

It will be the Saints against the Demons as Heathcote will play on the White Hills greens.
Weekend pennant resumes on 17 January.
The ladder-leading Saints will play at Strathfieldsaye.
Heathcote made its way to Harcourt for the final match of 2025.
Heathcote marked a 78-65 victory and leads the division two race.

The Saints played one of the best matches of the season in the Charity Round against Strathfieldsaye Maroon.
Just one shot separated the teams after the final bowl as the ladder-leading Strathfieldsaye Maroon claimed a 52-51 victory.

Social bowls on 3 January drew 22 bowlers to play three games of pairs and tirples.
Winners were Rod Hanson (s) and Sue Fitton, three wins, 43 points, +7 shots.
Runners-up were Eileen O’Brien (s) and Tony Leahy, two wins, one draw, 40 points, +14 shots.
