Cancer Council SA major fundraiser
Cancer Council SA’s Daffodil Day, presented by Thomas Foods International, on August 22, is encouraging South Australians to give to life-saving cancer research.
It’s estimated that 11,000 South Australians are diagnosed with cancer every year – that’s more than 30 new cases of cancer diagnosed each day.
That’s why this Daffodil Day, Cancer Council SA is encouraging South Australians to give hope to those facing a cancer diagnosis by buying daffodils or making a donation.
By giving this Daffodil Day, you’ll be helping fund some of South Australia’s best and brightest researchers who are dedicated to working towards the next cancer breakthrough through Cancer Council SA Research.
All the money raised in South Australia is invested into South Australian research, which is something our community can be proud of.
Thanks to the contribution of ground breaking cancer research, like that Cancer Council SA Research is able to fund, more people are surviving cancer than ever before with cancer survival rates increasing by as much as 20 per cent since the 1980s.
For all that cancer takes from every South Australian, give this Daffodil Day. For more information or to get involved, visit daffodilday.com.au
