Late Night Op Shopping returns to Mount Gambier

November 8, 2025 BY

The Late Night Op Shopping event brings together all Mount Gambier op-shops for an evening of fun, fashion and sustainable shopping.

Shoppers are invited to hit the op-shops after hours as Mount Gambier hosts a special late-night thrift event in celebration of National Recycling Week 2025.

Taking place on Tuesday 11 November from 4.00pm to 7.00pm, the Late Night Op Shopping event brings together all Mount Gambier op-shops for an evening of fun, fashion and sustainable shopping.

The event encourages locals to reduce, reuse and recycle by shopping smart at a range of secondhand stores offering everything from high-end labels to hidden treasures.

To make the experience even more convenient, a shuttle bus service will run between participating op-shops throughout the evening. Nibbles and drinks will also be provided along the way, creating a festive and relaxed shopping atmosphere.

Whether you’re hunting for unique gifts, vintage gems or quality fashion at a fraction of the cost, the late-night shopping session is a chance to kickstart your Christmas shopping while supporting local op-shops and the community services they fund.

The initiative is proudly supported by the City of Mount Gambier as part of National Recycling Week, and includes participation from well-known local op-shops such as Vinnies, Red Cross, Salvos, Lifeline, AC Care, Treasure Hunt and others.
