From iconic tracks like What Is Hip?, Soul Vaccination and You’re Still a Young Man, to their unmistakable sound and precision musicianship, the band promises a Saturday Night Gala that will be nothing short of explosive.

Securinig Tower of Power is a major coup for the 2026 program.

South Australian Minister for Tourism Zoe Bettison said Generations in Jazz was a highly anticipated event for the Limestone Coast, and now the young musicians have even more to look forward to.

“Tower of Power is a fantastic addition to the festival, which is going from strength to strength,” Minister Bettison said. “There is no doubt it will be one to remember.

“The State Government is proud to support Generations in Jazz through the South Australian Tourism Commission’s Regional Event Fund, as it helps bring visitors to the region and boosts business for the local community.”

The announcement comes as Generations in Jazz continues to experience extraordinary growth, with an additional 1000 students registering for this year’s event, reinforcing the festival’s status as one of the largest and most influential youth music events in the country.

The Saturday Night Gala Concert is a signature highlight of the Generations in Jazz weekend, drawing thousands of students, educators, performers and music lovers together to celebrate live performance, education and the future of jazz and contemporary music.
