Mim Atkinson migrated to Australia from Holland with her family in 1969.

One of six children, communication and negotiation were learnt at an early age and these traits are some of the reasons for her successful career so far.

A permanent resident of Aireys Inlet since 1999, Mim has developed a great love for the Surf Coast lifestyle.

Having worked in advertising since her early 20s and then running her own agency in South Melbourne for 10 years, the move to Aireys Inlet was a welcome ‘sea change’.

Mim started her real estate career with Great Ocean Properties in 2004.

Working in the real estate industry can be very challenging and time consuming, especially when raising two boys, but with the understanding and support of Great Ocean Properties’ director, Marty Maher, she was able to gain a wealth of knowledge and proven strategies to help her achieve exceptional results for her clients, as well as developing a strong rapport with those she meets.

“It’s difficult to explain how satisfying it is to start and finish a journey with clients looking for either a beach house or permanent home, seeing the smiles of gratitude, and feeling like I have just made new friends, but to this day it still gives me such a thrill,” she said.
