Frank n Al Chai: Positively touching the lives of many.
Making the right kind of impact on the world is important.
Kristen Carroll wanted to positively touch the lives of many and has found her business, Frank n Al Chai, has been a perfect vehicle for this.
She has met so many like minds on her business journey where she started selling her chai close to four years ago.
Kristen realised that she was addicted to coffee and had to find an alternative. Chai was her “go to”, but finding one pure enough for her body wasn’t easy.
She started making her own chai and sharing it along with the idea of people finding space for themselves; some time out to just be.
Kristen also includes a meditation in the pack to help get customers into the zone.
Two amazing adults, Buddy and Ella, have come along on the journey with Kristen.
Buddy is the co-director at Frank n Al Chai and helps share the load.
He has a very similar outlook on how he wants to contribute to the world and is very talented with a lovely manner.
Kristen is glad that she gets to help start him off on his own business adventure.
Ella is an artist and has contributed her talent, providing great packaging, social media support and using her people skills to sell the chai at Paddington Café Belmont, where she also works.
Kristen’s husband Ricky is her biggest supporter.
He is an amazing graphic designer which has come in handy on more than one occasion.
Behind every great business is a great team, Frank n Al Chai is no exception, with the team also being Kristen’s family.
The supportive community in Geelong and surrounding areas was instrumental in helping her develop the business.
Meeting people at farmers markets, chatting with them about what they find important in a product and in life, has helped Kristen develop the product on offer and also really focus in on their mission of helping people find space.
Frank n Al Chai love to support local causes and have recently teamed up with The Little Social, an initiative that helps youth homelessness at a grassroots level, giving them some respite.
Kristen is happy to have started this business after wanting to for years and didn’t know it would be ‘chai’ that she would be sharing with the world.
She has learnt so much about herself and the way people respond to such a positive offering.
Kristen would love to take the business a little further this year and is so excited for what comes next.
