Karuna-maya Medicine celebrates the contribution that women make to Businesses on the Surf Coast
Karuna-maya Medicine is excited to welcome two new doctors to their dedicated team.
They are Dr Madhur Suri, who brings her wealth of experience back to the Surf Coast after a short time away, and new registrar Dr Sharmin Jahan.
They will work alongside the clinic’s long-standing doctors Dr Darren Fahroedin, Dr Mary Barson (returning from maternity leave in April), Dr Daniel Walls-Langdon, Dr Millie Glen and Dr Laura Rhode.
With new practitioners on board, the clinic has been able to open up more appointment times to accommodate the needs of the growing community and improve access for families to see a doctor when they need to.
New patients are more than welcome.
Karuna-maya Medicine has an exceptional team of allied health practitioners who view health and healing holistically, with psychologist Belinda Gough, podiatrist Steve Iannazzo, physiotherapist Emily Bradshaw, and new to the practice – our dietitian, Georgia Cogan.
The team at Karuna-maya Medicine believes in the importance of time in the practice of good medicine.
They continue to honour this balance and appreciate that “slow medicine” is often the quickest path to fully understanding the underlying causes for illness and putting you back on the road to good health.
Karuna-maya Medicine offers a wide range of appointments to suit all needs, from a new skin clinic with Dr Millie Glen, family medicine, women’s health, men’s health, early pregnancy care with Dr Madhur Suri accredited for shared care with the University Hospital Geelong, childhood immunisations and travel vaccinations including yellow fever.
