FUNDS raised during tomorrow night’s monthly Reworn Market will be donated to the Grampians Health Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre’s Wellness Centre.

The pre-loved clothing market this Friday 16 August will run from 5pm to 8pm at the Mining Exchange.

“Since we started Reworn Market, we’ve always looked for ways to give back to our community,” said co-organiser Jacqui Jarvis.

“Partnering with the cancer Wellness Centre is a meaningful way for us to support those in Ballarat living with cancer.”

Entry to the Reworn Market is $5 with all proceeds to be donated to BRICC Wellness Centre which provides free programs and support services to cancer patients.

“We’re honoured to support the cancer Wellness Centre,” said co-organiser Rochelle Tournier.

“A close friend of ours used the centre this year and said that the staff were wonderful people who dedicated their time to their patients.

“The centre is entirely community-supported and provides invaluable services to patients and their families, and we hope this event will raise both awareness and funds to ensure these programs remain free for all cancer patients.

“Their work is so important, and we hope our contribution helps them continue their vital programs.”

All attendees will have the chance to win door prizes including three months worth of stall hire at the market, a produce hamper, and a wardrobe organisation session.

Food stalls available on the night are The Paella Guy and Mrs Browne Bakes, and live music will be provided by Freya and Tom McGowan.
