How long have you lived in your ward? I have lived in the City of Greater Geelong my entire life (54 years).

Community involvement: 20-year involvement with the community as a small business owner and more recently as a state MP. I have built strong relationships and connections with many clubs and organisations within and around Deakin ward. I have been a fierce advocate for the local area and have assisted many of these clubs with funding.

Three most important issues in your ward: 1. Getting Back to Basics and focusing on the core activities of council. 2. A rate freeze to assist with the cost-of-living crisis and to end waste and mismanagement 3. Deakin Ward has a mixture of new and older suburbs, and it requires new infrastructure and infrastructure renewal.
