Country to Coast Home Care Services was recently named the national award winner in the Aged and Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) 2024 Excellence Awards for Consumer Focus and Care, with Curt Schmeissing recognised for his work with Geoff and Kaye Kendall.

The service is also a finalist in the 2024 Geelong Business Excellence Awards.

Founded in 2019, Country to Coast Home Care Services helps seniors live at home for longer and stay comfortable and connected as they get older with a range of in-home care services.

Managing director and founder, Lucy Lincoln said the service offered a fully-personalised approach.

“We are a service ‘by locals, for locals’ fostering a true sense of community.

“Care is delivered in a way that breaks down the effects of a fragmented aged care system as many people want to continue living at home for as long as possible.

“There are lots of benefits that come with maintaining independence, and as an established Department of Health approved provider in our area,we can help you stay connected with what brings you joy.”

People often feel they are getting something of value by supporting a local business that is also a local employer. Country to Coast Home Care Services aims to contribute to a stronger, more sustainable and age-friendly Surf Coast overall.

The Country to Coast Home Care Services team serves the older generation with respect, dignity, and reverence, only employing qualified professionals and only servicing the Surf Coast area.

Country to Coast Home Care Services shares the Elder Rights Advocacy’s mission for a diverse, vibrant, multicultural community, where older people are respected, heard, well-informed, and can exercise their rights and responsibilities with confidence.
