Aireys Inlet Market gears up for season launch
THE final touches are being put on the Aireys Inlet Market as stallholders and visitors gear up for its 2024-2025 season launch.
Featuring the regions best arts, handcrafted goods, street food, gourmet treats and local produce, the eclectic Surf Coast market will make its return on October 13.
“We are excited to be able to offer local artisans, creators and growers the opportunity to be part of the Aireys Inlet Market community,” market administrator Fay Valcanis said.
“The market has a strong community essence that allows stallholders to connect with new and existing customers and promote the best of the region.”
Approximately 60 stallholders from local surrounds make up each market, catering for a wide variety of visitors.
“Around 20 per cent of stalls are new to the Aireys Inlet Market and the remainder are regulars, which helps to ensure marketgoers are presented with a mix of fresh creativity, along with old favourites,” Ms Valcanis said.
From bespoke ceramics and handcrafted clothing through to woodwork, local cheeses and everything in between, the market is an ideal day out to browse, buy or meet up with friends for a coffee.
Local stallholder Mic from OMG Decadent Donuts Geelong said they love being part of the market.
“It has a strong community feel and offers the opportunity for people who create, bake or make things to sell their products and connect directly with locals.”
The market will operate from 9am until 1pm from the Aireys Inlet Community Hall.
