BARWON HEADS BUILDER A FINALIST in international design awards

Barwon Heads luxury home builder Lifespaces Group is delighted to announce that their Courtyard House is a finalist for Kitchen Of The Year in the Best Of Design 2018 Awards by US design publication Dwell.

Judged by architects Gisue Hariri, Risa Boyer, and Josh Blumer, the Best of Design 2018 Awards recognizes the most inspiring projects featured by Dwell this year across seven categories.

In addition to a jury-selected winner and runner-up, each category will feature one community pick that is chosen by the public.

Located in Barwon Heads, the Courtyard House is part of the ‘Auhaus Release’ built by the LifeSpaces Group.

Director Elliot McLaren said that Lifespaces Group was ecstatic and incredibly humbled to be named as a finalist in Dwell’s Best Of 2018 awards for their Courtyard House Kitchen.

Hidden behind the soaring private entrance, is a modern four-bedroom home designed for relaxed living and outdoor entertaining.

The Courtyard House brings a sophisticated combination of modern living intertwined with texture, warmth, raw simplicity, and earthy luxuriance.

The arrangement of the living spaces around a large, open courtyard helps bring the natural world into the heart of the domestic realm.

Drawing natural light and breezes into the house, the courtyard accentuates the lofty ceilings and the endless space that is central to its design.

The semi enclosed courtyard functions as an outdoor room onto which all internal areas flow; perfect for summer entertaining, or simply relaxing beneath the open sky.

The Courtyard House kitchen is a sleek, bold centrepiece of the Courtyard House designed by Auhaus Architecture, and built by Lifespaces Group.

Featuring black cabinetry, handcrafted taps by Sussex and top-of-therange appliances by Vzug, the kitchen is spacious and ideal for entertaining.
