Beginner’s luck strikes at Queenscliff

BALLARAT resident Sharon Phayer scored a hole in one on the 9th hole at Queenscliff on Saturday April 20, marking her birthday and her first game of golf on a course. Sharon was having a hit with her husband David Edwards when she struck gold on the sunny afternoon in Queenscliff, with many players on the practice green witnessing her victorious beginner’s luck. Ironically enough, Sharon shot her way to glory using clubs she received that morning as a birthday gift.
