November 28, 2017 BY

The Melbourne Cup weekend marks the beginning of the busy season at Bellbrae Estate.

The weather and water are warming up, the footy’s over and many people are thinking about getting out and about on the Surf Coast.

This year Cup weekend is bigger than ever. As well as participating in the 16th Toast to the Coast, Bellbrae is also inviting locals and holidaymakers to enjoy a full weekend of music, wine and celebration, opening every day including Cup Day.

Following on from the weekend, Bellbrae will continue their Sunday music sessions with a fabulous line-up of artist both local and international.

These sessions are free entry to enjoy the music as always. These are a great afternoons to meet friends in a relaxed family friendly space.

This Sunday will include Trash, The Precautions and Digby Ave from Belmont High School, while November 12 will see Canadian duo Twin Peaks perform graceful ballads and persuasive grooves; each one casting a charmingly subtle golden-age-of-country and classic-pop afterglow.

Bellbrae is also booking out fast for parties and celebrations, with the new marquee and facilities making Bellbrae Estate a great choice for any event.

Bookings are recommended for lunch or to secure a picnic table, otherwise picnic rugs and BYO chairs are welcome. Food can be pre-ordered.

There are of course fabulous wines to taste and enjoy, especially the recent medal winners, including Bird Rock Pinot Noir, Longboard Pinot Noir, Longboard Chardonnay and Longboard Sauvignon Blanc.

To get party season started, Bellbrae is offering a 15 per cent discount on cases purchased over the Cup Weekend from the Cellar Door.
