It’s child’s play at centre open day
Childs Play Early Learning Centre is a family-owned and operated childcare service, with a Torquay location set to open this month.
The purpose-built beautiful facility accommodates 141 children from six weeks to six years old, and will operate between 6.30am-6.30pm weekdays.
Child’s Play Early learning Centre Torquay will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
The Open Day will give visitors the chance to talk to educators and meet Beckk, the centre director.
Beckk has been working in early childhood for over seven years, and is excited to open this new service to the community.
Beckk hopes to support families throughout the transition of their child starting childcare, watching them develop and grow as part of the Child’s Play Torquay family.
The centre has many interesting and stimulating play spaces to engage children, including sensory, imaginative, science, numeracy and literacy and construction experiences.
The yards are vast and open to encourage multi-age play.
Childs Play Early Learning Centre believes outdoor spaces are just as important as indoor areas, creating purposeful learning experiences for the children to enjoy and explore.
There is also a community space for mums and bubs groups, playgroups and coffee mornings.
During the Open Day, there will be face-painting, balloon artists, 10-minute massages, and live entertainment from Hey-Dee-Ho at 11.30am to engage children in singing and dancing. There will be a barbecue with resident chef Genea to answer questions about the nutritious menu at the centre.
Child’s Play Torquay is located at 1 Pintail Drive, Torquay.
