City’s new CEO to speak at breakfast

July 11, 2018 BY

Martin Cutter began his role as the City of Greater Geelong’s chief executive officer in June.

THE next breakfast forum hosted by the Geelong Business Network (GBN) will feature the new chief executive officer of the City of Greater Geelong, Martin Cutter.

Mr Cutter, who was formerly director of city business at the City of Melbourne, was appointed after an extensive search to replace CEO Kelvin Spiller, who vacated the position in March.

While at the City of Melbourne, Mr Cutter gained experience that will be significant in the future development of the Geelong region, including heading up Melbourne’s Economy and Action Group responsible for events, tourism services, marketing programs and international business relationships.

Mr Cutter has also held senior roles at Australian River Co, ANL Limited and KPMG.

The breakfast will be hosted by the Transport Accident Commission and Mr Cutter will be introduced by TAC chief executive officer Joe Calafiore, who will draw on his own experience with major public institutions to describe the special responsibilities and features of Mr Cutter’s new role.

The event will also include a question and answer session.

The GBN breakfast forum will be held at Little Creatures Brewery, 221 Swanston Street, Geelong, on August 2 from 7.30am. Tickets are $49.
