Coastal Glamp launches new season
NESTLED among the vines at the Bellarine Estate and minutes away from the cellar door is Coastal Glamp, offering a unique accommodation experience, just out of Portarlington.
Heading into its second season, Coastal Glamp celebrated this year’s launch on Friday last week, with Tourism of Greater Geelong and Bellarine executive director Tracy Carter cutting the ribbon.
Coastal Glamp director Jon Hammond said the business got themselves on the map last season and this year they were hoping for a busy season.
“The important thing is that people who come here have a great experience.
“The ones who come and stay, really love what we do here and they’ve had a great time and I think that’s really the important thing.”
The business sets up their equipped tents each weekend, catering to couples, families and small groups.
Children are also welcome to tag along, with plenty of space for them as well as outdoor and indoor games, creating a space where kids are happy and having fun outdoors.
“It’s really important that they’re [children] happy and they’re having fun, which means then the parents can relax and have a glass of wine,” Mr Hammond said.
Just outside of Portarlington, Coastal Glamp is positioned perfectly to allow guests to explore the regions of the Bellarine.
Indented Heads, St Leonards, Queenscliff, Point Lonsdale, Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads and more are within driving distance, as well as plenty of wineries, activities for the kids and local produce.
“I’d like people to know they can come here, they don’t need to bring anything, we set the tents up with everything they need,” Mr Hammond said.
“They can just come and relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery here and they’re well positioned to go on some adventures and explore the wonderful things there are here on the Bellarine.”
Throughout February, Coastal Glamp will offer a range of special events, including Valentines Weekend, Wellness Weekend and Games Weekend.
The new season will run until late April 2025.
