DAFT Torquay and Bell Street Fiesta this weekend
THE party bus is coming and everybody’s jumping as the Drinks Arts Food Torquay event kicks off tomorrow (Friday).
The three-day festivities begin Friday evening with the Bells Beach Brewing Party Bus transporting partygoers between The Cave, Ginger Monkey and Torquay Surf Life Saving Club for live music, wood-fired pizzas and other food vendors.
On Saturday, diners who purchased a ticket to the Torquay Celebration lunch will enjoy a three-course luncheon with beer, wine, ciders, entertainment and art competition at the Surf Coast Hotel.
And last but not least, Sunday will see Bell Street blocked off once again for DAFT’s iconic street fiesta with three sections and stages set up offering a variety of entertainment.
Event project manager Sarah McLoughlin said organisers were expecting a fantastic turnout for the event that caters for everyone.
“This year’s been fantastic and hopefully with some great weather it can be a fantastic weekend that appeals to all ages.”
