Theatre 3222 presents the classic tale of Cinderella at the Potato Shed.

The Potato Shed is jam packed with exciting shows for the month of April.

Staring Dianne McLean HIT productions returns with Glorious, the hilarious true story of the world’s worst opera singer Florence Foster Jenkins.

This heart-warming comedy moves from Florence’s charity recitals and lavish balls, through to her very odd recording sessions and her ultimate performance triumph at New York’s Carnegie Hall, with two shows only – on April 7 at 2pm and 8pm.

For a family-friendly outing, Theatre 3222 present the classic tale of Cinderella with eight shows running from Tuesday April 10 to Friday April 13 at 10.30am and 1.30pm – great costumes, colour music and audience participation all at a very affordable cost.

Morning Showtime continues as local musician Adam Parsons and historian Colin Mockett play tribute to The Beatles with a special show on Tuesday April 17 at 10.30am, followed by with a great morning tea from Drysdale Bakers Delight.

A special event in April will incorporate art and the environment during Biodiversity in Your Backyard, featuring a range of arts and art practice in an environmental situation.

This is a free event, tickets are limited so get in fast for the Thursday April 19 event commencing at 7pm.

The Potato Shed will also welcome back the feisty, feminist, fierce – multi-award winning internationally acclaimed cabaret femme fatale Anya Anastasia.

Her new show Rogue Romantic made its European premiere late last year and arrives to Drysdale on Friday April 20.

Channeling Yma Sumac and Shirley Bassey, Anya’s vocals range from husky cabaret to operatic soprano, to the delight of cabaret, live music and theatre lovers.

Rogue Romantic follows hot on the heels of her smash hit critically acclaimed 2017 Edinburgh Fringe hit of, Torte e Mort: Songs of Cake and Death, which sold out at the Potato Shed last year.
