GEELONG Sustainability is continuing its mission with the 2024 Electric Homeowners Program officially under way.

The program will help homeowners save money on their energy bills, reduce emissions, switch off gas and live more comfortably in their home.

The Electric Homes Program connects homeowners with trusted local suppliers, simplifying the electrification process.

As part of the program, options for solar and battery storage systems, heating and cooling split systems, hot water heat pumps, induction cooktop installations and more will be included.

This year’s program reflects the communities interest in sustainable living and moving away from gas dependency. Participants are able to make informed choices about improving energy efficiency in homes.

Geelong Sustainability is a not-for-profit organisation empowering the community to be more sustainable.

“We’ve made it our priority to partner with local businesses that are committed to providing excellent customer service and quality products,” Geelong Sustainability chief executive officer Dan Cowdell said.

“Our extended program this year reflects the increasing community interest in sustainable living and the desire to move away from gas dependency.”

The 2024 program is poised to reach more households across the region following the success of last year’s initiative, highlighting the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions and the role of community-led initiatives.

Participants are able to make informed choices about improving energy efficiency in homes.

Special pricing and high-quality products and services ensures participants can make informed decisions about improving the energy efficiency of their homes.

For those looking to upgrade their homes’ energy systems or just explore their options, the Electric Homes Program is there to guide them every step of the way.

Webinars will run on September 19, September 25, October 2 and October 22, providing more information on a range of topics.
