SCREAMING JETS, AIRSHOW ARRIVES TO AVALON

A high voltage array of combat aircraft takes centre stage during Airshow 2019 at Avalon running March 1-3. See the most potent air defense arsenal strut their stuff at Australia’s world famous aviation spectacular. Marvel as jet fighters, strike bombers and heavy lift leviathans are joined by swarms of attack helicopters, from home and abroad, for a series of breathtaking routines and simulated combat manoeuvres. GEELONG SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The GSO continues to champion the great Brahms and Tchaikovsky classics with their latest performance Two Romantics. The 2018 Australian Youth Classical Music Competition winner Rio Xiang, is on the Steinway Grand playing Tchaikovsky’s soaring Piano Concerto No.1, led by international conductor, Richard Davis. JAM-TASTIC DELIGHTS AT STRAWBERRY FAIR

Wallington Primary School’s annual Strawberry Fair returns on March 3 dishing up an assortment of crowd favourites. Head along and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, food, showbags, rides and auctions plus plenty more. There’s fun for the whole family at the fair situated within the Wallington Primary School grounds. Enjoy the freshest strawberry delights, from pavlovas with cream to choc-coated strawberries.
