Happy Growlers

Surf Coast residents can welcome in the long weekend the right way during Growlers happy hour running from 4pm to 6pm Friday and Saturday. Offering up $3 pots and $6 pints, alongside $5 basic spirits with $6 house wines and bubbles. For larger groups there are also $25 sangria jugs available and a selection of $30 cocktail jugs. With live music and Ride The Wave Shuttle Bus available to get you to and from your desired location, Growlers at 23 The Esplanade Torquay, is a great way to relax into your long weekend.

A must sea exhibition

Queenscliffe Neighbourhood HOUSE Gallery’s latest exhibition is Pamela Manning’s, The Way I Sea It, which opens Saturday at 2pm. Glass, print and photography have been used by the artist to capture the “delicate fragile world within Port Phillip.” There is symbolic meaning within the works encouraging the public to protect the habitat of marine plants for future generations. The artist has used colour and textures to capture Queenscliff and her beaches. The gallery located at 3 Tobin Drive is open Monday to Thursday 9am-4pm, Friday 9am-noon and Sat/Sun 12pm-3pm for the month of March. The gallery will be closed on Good Friday. TSLSC cocktail party

Torquay SLSC are hosting a cocktail party caper on Sunday March 11 between 5.30pm – 9.30pm at $15pp including finger food – drinks at members prices and a complimentary drink on arrival. All proceeds will go towards assisting the TSLSC competition team for the Australian Championships in Perth later on this year.
