HAVING spent 12 years in the building industry, Joshua Bugeja is a man of all trades and is bringing his expertise to the Surf Coast through his business City2Surf Solutions.

Based in Torquay, Josh said he services all areas from Melbourne to the Surf Coast, working alongside certified contractors such as electricians and plumbers to complete your projects.

“City2Surf is your one-stop shop. We provide solutions for projects, big and small; from building maintenance tasks, handyman services, window and door repairs and furniture assembly,” he said.

“To TV wall mounting, painting, tiling, landscaping, hardwood/laminate flooring, plumbing and electrical. Some of the bigger projects we take on are kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations and small extensions.”

Having spent 12 years in the building industry Josh said he started off as a cabinet maker then moved on to building
maintenance, laying floorboards and building staircases fulltime.

“For the past four years I have been working as a project manager for a large commercial builder. I have recently moved to Torquay after getting married in September,” he said.

“What excites me most about what I do is that no two days are the same. Some days I am managing a bathroom renovation and the next I am constructing a deck or pergola.

“I enjoy watching projects evolve and work hard until I can stand back at the end of the job and feel pride in what it has become.”

For Josh, launching City2Surf was about providing a service that people can call upon when they need a handyman around the house, but also diverse enough to take on the bigger projects.

“I want to simplify the build process so that our customers are able to come to one place, to get the entire job done. My motto is: ‘No job too small, we’ll do them all’.

Typically working from 7am until 4.30pm, Josh is available 24/7 for emergency maintenance jobs.
