Frankie Say Relax finds new home
AFTER seven years of Frankie Say Relax running out of a shop in Torquay’s Bell Street, the retail brand has outgrown the space.
Their new store has now officially opened, just in time for Christmas on Gilbert Street, in a bigger and brighter location.
More than double the size of its previous space, Frankie Say Relax now offers its customers even more choice in products and more room to move around.
Frankie Say Relax’s Lyndsay Scott said it felt right to move to the new store and pick up a lease in the particular spot.
“It’s quite close to the beach, it’s across from Pholklore and in front of Mortadeli and it’s got Augustus on one side and 9 Grams on the other, we’re tucked in there nice and cosy with good company.
“We’ve been able to extend our fashion offering, which we know the Torquay customers like and let all of our products breathe a little bit more and it’s just made it come up to speed with the rest of the fleet.
“There’s even two change rooms, which is a big deal for us.”
Ms Scott said with the Bell Street store, they had to be quite refined in their offerings, while the new locations allows them to open up more.
The new space opened last month and has already been popular in the community, with many not realising the business has been in Torquay for the past seven years.
“We knew there was scope to be bigger down there and we’ve just listened and acted,” Ms Scott said.
Offering gifts, homewares, lifestyle and fashion, Frankie Say Relax gives locals and visitors a one-stop-shop for their Christmas gifts, with a versatile range to suit every budget and free gift wrapping.
Frankie Say Relax stores can also be found in Geelong and Queenscliff, with online shopping also available.
