The Geelong Wine Walk is back bigger and better next year, bringing some of our region’s finest wineries, distilleries and breweries to the heart of Geelong in support of the APCO Foundation.

The annual event will be held on February 11, 2023 at eight venues along the Geelong Waterfront.

Wine Walkers can enjoy a self-guided tour at their own leisure and sample the wares of producers including BAIE Wines, Burnt Acre Wines, Blackman’s Brewery, and Banks Road.

Sailors’ Rest, Royal Geelong Yacht Club, The Wharf Shed, Fishermen’s Pier, The Giant Sky Wheel, The Boat House, The Inn and charter boat the Hygeia are the participating venues this year.

Each venue will be matched with different producers for multiple tastings as you make your way along the Waterfront and to The Inn, where you can sit and enjoy the live entertainment or converse with the representatives from each local producer.

The APCO Foundation was established in 2013 by the Anderson sisters and has donated over $1 million back into the communities around the APCO stores.

The foundation has recently donated more than $90,000 directly to 17 families and individuals, affected by the Shepparton floods and this support was delivered within days of the crisis.

Helping people quickly is what makes the APCO Foundation so special and unique.

“The APCO Foundation works tirelessly to raise money for those in our community who need support, the Geelong Wine Walk is our biggest fundraiser for the year and we are so excited to be back in 2023,” foundation chair Sharon Gleeson said.

Tickets to the Geelong Wine Walk are $120 and include tastings, canapes and exciting live entertainment at all eight venues, as well as your own tasting glass and tote bag.

The day runs from 11am-5pm.
