HILLTOP HOODS to headline Falls

September 5, 2018 BY

Falls Festival, one of Australia’s most iconic New Years Eve festivals has locked in an all-star line-up for their Lorne, Byron and Marion Bay events including iconic Aussie hip hop act Hilltop Hoods and Vance Joy.

In its 26th year, the Falls Festival returns one year older and wiser delivering a just-announced killer line-up over three days of festivities.

Thousands will flock to four Falls locations over New Year’s and the days after with Vance Joy, Hilltop Hoods and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard on a program that ends in Fremantle on January 5 and 6.

Other acts include Anderson .Paak And The Free Nationals, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Toto, Amy Shark, DMA’s, Jack River, Odette, Mahalia and Sam Fender.

With an all-star line-up landing amongst the glittering sunsets, cobalt coastlines and disco docklands of Australia’s heartland, artists from across Australia and around the world are primed to transform our rolling natural amphitheatres and inner-city stages this summer.

Falls Festival aims to capture the good vibes that come with the summer sun and blast it from stage to crowd, creating an unforgettable celebration of the very best music, arts and good times.

At this year’s Falls you’ll find world class music, creative installations, visual arts performances, pop-up bars and beer gardens; pass outs all festival long; thoughtful camping facilities; comedy clubs; daily beach access; glorious gourmet fare and makers’ markets.

There will also be local traders, beauty parlours, holistic yoga and well-being, plus loads more to be announced.

A line-up packed to the brim with red-hot international and national artists has been carefully curated and the sites in Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay and Fremantle will be whipped into shape in readiness for another New Year’s special.

With every show selling out last year, there’s no doubt that after two and a half decades, Falls remains as vital as the summer sun.
