Holiday camps return after development camp success in Torquay

AFTER the overwhelming success of the inaugural Coerver Coaching Development Camp in Torquay, Coerver Coaching is thrilled to announce the return of their popular Holiday Camps this coming school break.

In April, the Development Camp brought together 165 young players, aged 6 to 16, from across the Geelong region and interstate, delivering technical coaching through the globally respected Coerver method.

Among the many talented players who attended, Frankie Dyson (11) and Vincent Seraiocco (12) were recognised as Coerver Girl and Coerver Boy for their consistent effort, skill development, and positive attitude throughout the camp.

Both players are regular participants in Coerver’s Performance Academy and represent local teams, showcasing the pathway between weekly programs and intensive camps.

The camps break the kids up into multiple groups, allowing them to spend time with their friends and learn new skills. The Coerver Coaching Development camps will return this school holidays for children of all levels.

“I learnt some new ball mastery skills and how to ‘feint’ a little bit better,” Frankie said.

“My favourite part was probably the World Cup at the end and meeting new people.”

Vincent said his game definitely improved in just a few days.

“The coaches are really well prepared, and everything runs so smoothly.”

Former Socceroo and director of Coerver Coaching Geelong, Adrian Leijer, said he is excited for the Holiday Camps to return.

“They are always so much fun and we focus on fun,” Leijer said.

The Coerver Coaching Development camps will return this school holidays for children of all levels.

“Whether the kids are beginners or have been playing for a long time, our camps are a fantastic development experience.

“We run multiple groups, so the kids get the opportunity to spend time with their friends while learning some new things on and off the pitch.”

The coming Holiday Camps are delivered by accredited Coerver Coaches with engaging technical drills, small-sided games, and fun team challenges that cater to all skill levels.
