It’s time for a laugh with Jimmy Rees

Australian comedian Jimmy Rees has embarked on his Let’s Get Regional tour, which will land in Geelong later this month.

Well known for his role as Jimmy Giggle and hosting Giggle and Hoot, the comedian has hit the road with a new comedy show, touring around the country.

“After touring metro cities over the last few years, I couldn’t be more pumped to be bringing a new live show to many local towns around the country, where some I’m visiting and performing or the very first time,” he said.

Rees is no stranger to performing on the big screen, taking over TVs during his time on Dancing with the Stars in 2019, followed by a 10-week stint on Network TEN’s Taskmaster.

During the pandemic he moved into the social media world, where his following grew.

He was also nominated in the TikTok Awards for Comedy Creator of the Year in 2023.

This will be the comedians third Australian tour, he first toured in 2022 with Meanwhile in Australia, which led to 34 sold out shows in the major cities.

His latest performance comes off the back of his successful 2023 tour, Not That Kinda Viral, where he ended with 24 shows across the country.

Let’s Get Regional started in February and will end in July following a 30-date tour.

Rees will take the stage at Costa Hall on June 22.
