Aussie musicians Jon Stevens and Kate Ceberano will take the stage across the nation to sing some of their biggest hits.

The pair are taking their Superstars Live show on the road, touring six states and the ACT with a performance scheduled for Geelong in October.

The recently announced tour will comprise nine shows and feature songs including Stevens’ ‘Touch” and “Take Me Back”, and Ceberano’s “Bedroom Eyes” and “Brave”.

“Jon and I have been great mates for a really long time now, and have shared the stage together. But we’ve never done a full show like this one,” Ceberano said.

Stevns and Ceberano were co-stars in the successful 1992 stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

ARIA Award winning hits from the performance including “Everything’s Alright” and “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” will also be included in the duo’s set list.

Stevens said both he and Ceberano could feel the energy from the crowd when performing the Jesus Christ Superstar hits.

“Delta [Goodrem] brought us together last December for her Christmas special and requested that we perform ‘Everything’s Alright’, and the response blew us away.

“This encouragement, and the fact that it’s the 50th anniversary of Jesus Christ Superstar, created the seeds from which the Superstars Live show has grown. We can’t wait to take it on the road.”

John Farnham will also be honoured during their performances with a musical tribute as one of the original Superstars.

“We both have so much love for John Farnham and the incredible experience we all shared and all these years later remains as a cherished memory,” Ceberano said.

“We’re excited we can bring that back for those who saw us in the original production, and for a whole new generation.”

Ceberano and Stevens will perform at Costa Hall on October 25.
