Jump for Max

September 26, 2018 BY

Max Pini, 10, has several health ailments but keeps a positive mindset thanks to idol Mark Daniel. Supatramp Geelong and Bento Kids are hosting a fundraiser for Max, so he can watch Mark compete at the Invictus Games in Sydney.

At just nine days old Max Pini underwent his first open heart surgery and now as a 10-year-old has several health issues, including Heterotaxy (a rare genetic condition), Cerebral Palsy, reduced lung function and central liver disease.

Supatramp Geelong has teamed up with Bento Kids to help Max achieve his dream of watching mentor Mark Daniels compete at the Invictus Games in Sydney.

Max’s idol – knee amputee, Navy sailor and Road Trauma Ambassador, Mark has helped guide Max on keeping a positive mindset through what is a very difficult health journey.

On Saturday October 6, Supatramp are opening their doors from 5pm-7pm for an event that will put the fun back into fundraising.

The event offers two hours of full park access plus grip socks for $25, with Supatramp donating all ticket sales to Max’s cause.

Visitors will have the opportunity to win a heap of awesome prizes through raffles and activities – with Bento Kids giving away their famous Bento Boxes and lunch bags.

Supatramp general manager Mark Fountain said they were hoping to draw large crowds to the event.

“We’re hoping that by giving people a fun experience and the opportunity to win great prizes in return for their donation, that people will be more willing to assist us in sending Max to Sydney,” Mr Fountain said.

“Ideally, we’d love to get 200 people through the door, to raise $5,000 for Max and his family.”
