Mainly Music continues in Anglesea

January 11, 2018 BY

Mainly Music’s program had a fun-filled musical year in Anglesea during 2017, with Phil Shirley, of Surf Coast Ministries, pleased to announce that sessions will continue from February 6 this year.

The classes run from 10am and include 30 minutes of music and movement between parents and children, improving hand-eye co-ordination and social interactions.

Parents are encouraged to participate and help their child develop new skills in the fun, interactive and educational sessions.

After the musical part of the session, children are provided with healthy snacks while learning social skills and interactions with the other children.

Toys are provided as entertainment for the children to allow parents to have time to build relationships with other parents from the surrounding community while enjoying the morning tea on offer.

Sessions end at the leisure of participants, encouraging conversation and friendships to blossom well after families have left the program.

Program organisers are looking forward to bringing the fun and interactive music sessions to pre-school families in the Anglesea and wider region again this year.

The program has been a great success in Winchelsea too, moving into its sixth year of operation for families in the local and surrounding areas.

Families interested in registering their child for Surf Coast Ministries’ Mainly Music program, can do so by phoning or texting 0438 324 675 and asking for Kylie.
