New homeowner Heather MacLeod recently moved into her brand new, light filled home from a 5-acre property near Ballarat. She needed to be realistic about the ongoing maintenance her old property required, and it was taking time away from creative hobbies.

 

“I had to make the decision about the next stage in life,” Heather said.

“I’d been thinking about it for a while, and I did a lot of research. I wasn’t keen on a retirement village, but Lifestyle St Leonards is for independent like-minded people. It’s a really nice atmosphere, it’s secure, you know who your neighbours are.”

Lifestyle St Leonards is a growing and in demand community. The Clubhouse is open from March 5, to tour and Heather didn’t hesitate when asked what she was most keen on.

 

“The pools and spa,” she laughed. “But honestly, I’m looking forward to all of it.”

In the meantime, driveway happy hours and hard hat tours have become a thing for homeowners.

The beach, pub meals and the gorgeous little shops close by are on Heather’s list to explore with the community electric bikes as soon as she settles into her new lifestyle.
