New chefs and new menu at Basils Farm

Basils Farm is thrilled to welcome two new chefs to the Basils Farm kitchen team, Corey Fowler and Anthony Woodbury.

Corey has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, working around the world, but most recently has been back home creating delicious dishes at The Pickers Union in Geelong and Aireys Inlet Pub.

One of Corey’s fondest memories of his career was cooking in London for one of Elton John’s extravagant parties.

Anthony is an award-winning Chef, previously Head Chef at the House of Jack Rabbit and Bellarine Estate.

With over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and hailing from Geelong, Anthony loves finding the best local suppliers and using seasonal produce.

Both chefs have a passion for using fresh and local produce and are getting out in the Basils garden every day to select fresh veggies.

Expect to see more Basils produce, more local delights and a focus on delicious, seasonal food – coming to your plate.

Basils Farm now also offers all day breakfast, available from Wednesday – Sunday.

It’s the most important meal of the day so why not offer it all day!

Choose from a selection of favourites or excite your palate with new flavours, including a Baked Egg Skillet or Smashed Avo with a twist – featuring house smoked salmon and beetroot relish.

Also, enjoy Basils “Locals Lunch” meal and a glass of wine for $30, or with a coffee for $25, available weekdays only.

Basils also offers great value weekday lunch specials.

Hearty house-made soups for $16 or for afternoon tea enjoy a coffee and cake for only $10.

Bringing the kids with you? Kids receive a complimentary kid’s platter box when a main meal is purchased.
