Quay Osteo

After relocating to Old Torquay, Quay Osteo owner Laura Walsh is continuing the mission of attracting and expanding her team of like-minded practitioners.

“Our team creates the culture and that culture and motivation is what enables us to provide great care for our clients, above and beyond what people traditionally expect,” Laura said.

With 20 years’ experience in the health industry, Laura said it has become more and more apparent that a key driving force behind tension and pain is stress.

“Our physical health is intimately connected with our mental and emotional wellbeing, and we live in a society where being busy has become an epidemic.

“Stress, fatigue, anxiety and varying degrees of depression are far more common than social media leads us to believe. I see it on a daily basis and it can be more subtle than you expect.

“Personally, I get a real buzz out of supporting women: stressed-out business owners and tired mums as I can personally relate.”

Quay Osteo began out of need to create a centre where people can come and feel genuinely supported and cared for.

“Being able to help them rediscover balance in life and learn to take time for themselves, that’s invaluable. The impact for themselves, their families, friends and workplaces is huge.

“We have evolved to become somewhat of a hub for connecting our clients and friends to other services within the community, be it health-related or otherwise.”

Quay Osteo is now located at 29 Boston Road Torquay. For more information, phone 5215 1106.
