The inaugural sold out Dancing Heads Festival saw thousands hit the Barwon Heads Hotel carpark for a stellar line-up of acts including Client Liaison, Fleetmac Wood and Groove City.

Managing Director of UNO Events Adam Metwally said the festival was a massive hit that drew a fantastic crowd.

“The festival was great with a really good crowd. Vibes were high, and it was a stunning day. Bars got very busy at one point with long waits, between 4-6pm,” he said.

“We made some adjustments, added some more staff in and turned one of the food traders into a bar and it sorted, after that it was really good.”

Mr Metwally said they expected to hit a few minor bumps – with it being the first event of its kind in Barwon Heads– but all in all thought it was a positive outcome.

“We expected to have some teething issues (as with all things of this nature) but we worked through most and the ones we couldn’t, we will improve on in future years!”
