Pizza from start to finish

Time to master a classic favourite pizza with the family these school holidays!

And with only six ingredients, you can even make your own pizza base.

Pizza Dough

INGREDIENTS
2 cups plain flour
1 tsp caster sugar
8 g dry yeast
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsP extra virgin olive oil
3/4 cup water (lukewarm)

METHOD
Place flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a large bowl
Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and add oil and water
Combine with hands until soft
Dust flour onto work surface and knead until soft and pliable
Place dough back in the mixing bowl and cover with glad wrap. Set aside for 30 minutes or until the dough doubles in size
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for a few minutes or until smooth
Use a rolling pin to roll out dough to desired size.

TOPPINGS
Pizza Margherita
Tomato or pizza sauce
Fresh buffalo mozzarella, sliced
Fresh basil leaves
Spread tomato sauce on base, evenly distribute desired amount of mozzarella, sprinkle basil leaves on top.

Pizza Vegetarian
Tomato or pizza sauce
Shredded mozzarella or feta
Your choice of vegetables!
Vegetarian pizza can include mushroom, spinach, capsicums, olives, zucchini, fresh tomatoes, and basil, just to name a few.

Pizza Pepperoni
Tomato or pizza sauce
Mozzarella,
pepperoni

Pizza Hawaiian
Tomato or pizza sauce
Shredded ham
Pineapple

Cook for 20 minutes, or until dough has cooked through.
