Register for Surf Coast Arts Trail

March 14, 2018 BY

Registrations are now open until April 15 for the 2018 Surf Coast Arts Trail. This piece by Artist Ilya Viryachev was featured during last year’s Surf Coast Art Trail at the Anglesea Studio 66.

REGISTRATIONS for the 2018 Surf Coast Arts Trail are open now with interested parties encouraged to submit their applications before the April 15 cut off.

In its seventh year, this unique event gives people the opportunity to discover new art and meet artists in their studios and creative venues from the coast to hinterland.

The two-day event runs August 11-12 with free entry and corflute signs, flags, poles and a visitor book for participants.

The Surf Coast Shire Arts Trail is open to visual artists of any medium willing to showcase, promote and share their art with the public.

Last year’s trail featured a diverse range of works including wood carving, sculpture, painting, jewellery making, animation and pottery and the event has grown from 70 artists across 29 venues in its debut year, to 200 artists across 48 venues last year.

Artists who are residents or ratepayers of the Surf Coast are eligible for a description and image in the Arts Trail brochure and visiting artists may be mentioned.

Artists who wish to be involved in the August 2018 trail can find registration forms online at surfcoast.vic.gov.au/artstrail or phone the Arts Development Officer on 5261 0600 or email [email protected].
