Wade Forster is heading around Australia with a new tour, stopping in at the Barwon Club Hotel on November 20.

From the Queensland outback to sharing the stage with some of the biggest country artists, Wade Forster’s music career is only just taking off.

The singer-songwriter has come a long way since first picking up a guitar in 2017, releasing a brand-new single in July, alongside a fresh run of Australian shows.

Forster’s rodeo riding roots are deeply ingrained in the new release, with Take That Buckle Home a tribute to a fellow cowboy.

“I wrote this song about my mate Travis who is killing it over in the States rodeoing at the moment,” he said.

“All of us Australian cowboys and cowgirls can’t wait for him to go to the NFR one day.

“This song is a testament to his determination and dedication to his craft.”

The single joins tracks released earlier this year, including One Night Stand and Last Day of Dying Breed.

His career took another leap last year when he became the winner of the Toyota Star Maker, a competition inviting aspiring country music artists to compete for a range of opportunities, boosting their career.

The win added him to the long list of recipients, among the likes of Keith Urban, Lee Kernaghan and Kaylee Bell.

Forster has also taken to the stage with Cody Johnson and Luke Combs, cultivating a fan base that stretches into the US and racked up more than 50 million streams without a label.

His upcoming tour comes off the back of a string of performances across the US, debuting in North America and performing to sold-out crowds in Texas and Colorado.

Forster will perform at the Barwon Club Hotel on November 20.
