Smokin’ Shiraz weekend at Basils

Basils Farm is excited to be a part of the Geelong Wine Association’s Winter Shiraz Weekend that showcases the region’s wineries, with the spotlight on Shiraz.
Now in its third year, the event is growing in popularity as wine lovers rug up in their winter woollies, in search of a great red.
They won’t have to look far, the Basils Farm current release, 2017 Basils Farm Shiraz, is a wild fermented, minimal intervention wine, displaying delicious savoury flavours and spicy zest.
Basils Farm, Wine Sales Manager, Ben Shaw said the vintage was “shaping up” to be one of their “finest”.
The Cellar Door will have limited edition Basils Farm Shiraz Packs featuring back vintages available for purchase and visitors will have the chance to Win a Shiraz pack.
This weekend only, receive an additional bottle of wine with any purchase of a dozen.
In addition to the full range of Basils Farm wines, guests can taste exclusive Shiraz back vintage wine tastings, savour a glass of wine, relaxing in the garden whilst listening to live acoustic music.
Smoker delights await guests as Basils Farm Chefs Corey and Anthony fire up the Basils Burner; the regular Café menu will be replaced with a Shiraz inspired American style, street food menu.
Breakfast will be available from 8am-11am and lunch from noon.
