AS Tom Busby continues to take his solo career to new heights, the musician is stepping onto the stage with his own tour this November.
His tour will feature a preview of his new album, Rockhampton Hangover, to be released early next year.
The upcoming release is already generating buzz with his fans, with early release singles, including Waiting for Tomorrow, reaching more than 30,000 streams in the first weeks of its release.
Rockhampton Hangover’s latest single Lottery is becoming a favourite in the musician’s line-up and is all about finding joy in the little wins.
“For some people, that’s hitting the jackpot — for me, it’s moments with my family, music, freedom and feeling alive,” he said.
“It’s easily the most thumping track on the album — loud, loose, and built for the stage … and who doesn’t love a whistle hook? This one’s a belter.”
His Lottery Tour follows on from a string of sold-out shows and will breathe life into his new songs across the country.
Busby said he loves being on the road with his young band.
“They are red hot and bring so much energy,” he said.
“Playing these intimate rooms feels special. The connection is real, and the storytelling is off the hook.”
The Australian singer-songwriter was one half of the folk duo Busby Marou, which has played to sold-out venues, released certified gold and platinum records, an ARIA #1 album and more.
Busby will be stepping into the stage solo for his upcoming tour and will play the Bellarine Estate on Friday, November 28.
