Tell us about Our Future First, Coastline’s responsible investment portfolio.

Coastline Advice has always been on the forefront of market leading solutions, and when we realised there was a gap in the market for responsible investment portfolios, we stepped up to the plate. Having raised our families along the beautiful coastline, we’re aware that the decisions we make today will affect our children’s future and the same principles should apply when considering our finances.

 

The Our Future First Portfolios are a suite of ethically aware diversified portfolios that combine ethically screened direct Australian equities with a selection of leading Fund Managers and Exchange Traded Funds that focus on Ethical, Sustainability and Impact investing. The direct Australian equity component aims to screen out those stocks with negative ethical factors, specifically fossil fuels, alcohol/tobacco, uranium, gambling, defence industries and extractive industries.

The fund has become increasingly popular within our community, giving clients the peace of mind that their money is not only doing well for them, but the planet as well.

How does responsible investing compare?

Our Future First Portfolios are invested in direct shares, managed funds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and cash. The portfolios offer a competitive return, with a goal CPI of 5 per cent for 100 per cent and 3 per cent for 70 per cent, along with broader positive outcomes for the planet.
