The region’s best cool-climate wines will be in the spotlight at the 21st edition of the Toast to the Coast event next month.

Attendees are invited to come be part of “Geelong’s ultimate wine festival” at Deakin University’s Waterfront Campus on October 19.

The event promises more than 60 wines on pour from the Moorabool Valley, Surf Coast and Bellarine and special appearances from guest distilleries and breweries.

Guests are invited to savour the flavours and discover their favourites from the makers while enjoying a selection of live musicians and DJs.

Wine Geelong president Sam Vogel said this year’s event was sure to have a big party atmosphere.

“Toast to the Coast has long been one of the most popular events on the local calendar, the perfect celebration of everything that our glorious region has to offer.

“We are proud to offer a range of opportunities for connoisseurs to meet the makers, learn from the experts and hear about Geelong’s winemaking heritage.

“We are looking forward to welcoming patrons from across the state to our iconic waterfront to taste the best Geelong has to offer, discover new favourites and local classics, and have a blast with friends.”

Tickers will include a four-hour session (morning or afternoon) of complimentary tastings from top producers, a delicious snack of your choice, live entertainment, and a Plumm glass to take home.

Attendees can attend the morning session from 11am to 3pm, or an afternoon session from 4pm to 8pm.

Additional tastings, and drinks by the glass or bottle will also be available for purchase on the day.

Tickets are limited, so don’t miss out.
